When will this update be out? It would be awesome to have this feature. I just upgraded to 4.1 and didn’t see it in there.
Is there a downside to 3.3.8?
is there a way to stop it from listing all the individual packages below the listings of categories? What file would i need to modify to change this?
ok so I’ve worked out all the JS errors. The last piece of the puzzle is the login page. I’ve read all the docs and tried different things but I can’t get the plugin to display a login form asking the user to log in. What do I do?
im just clicking on one of the categories. or go into the admin -> categories and click view on one of the categories
ok i’ll look at the JS errors and I know [wpdm-categories] is not the same but that still wont solve the problem. Try disabeling the contact form plugin and then click on one of the categories. It takes you to the archive page still.
I noticed that you disabled Custom Contact Forms. This needs to be active for the site to run. How do we fix this without disabling. It’s a pretty common wordpress plugin. Also, disabling it doesn’t fix the problem. I changed the short code to [wpdm-categories] and it forwards to the archives page when clicking on a category.
Thanks.
A couple file access issues I have. First, When you go to the downloads page there are two packages, test2 and test3 under Manuals. If you only have access to test2 it still shows that there are two files in the directory structure. When you click on the directory it only shows the one file but says there are two. This will confuse users. How can we fix.
Second, How can we eliminate users from being able to see specific categories. i.e. only see the documents category?
There also seems to be a bug when displaying more than two packages in a category using the directory add on. There is some extra text after the download image ” ‘ /> ” maybe from an anchor tag or something? This is fixed when I disable the WPDM – image button plugin
