Why not just get the information for the filezise from the _wp_attachment_medata in the post meta table?

P.S Can you provide any insight as to why the file browser from the server is showing an empty page with no selectable file?

The server file browser is not showing any files and they can’t be selected, what you are suggesting is a work around the issue, is
there any plans to implement a solution for selecting from the media library itself, and do you have any idea or suggestion for me why the files cannot be viewed / selected from the manner you suggesting.
