Hi Shaon,

We have tried the code and it does work… BUT… the subscribers name does not appear on the email anymore. Understandably the whole point of the email to the cc is lost then.

How can we solve this?

Could you also please tell me what files you changed? Because our specialist can’t see you set the $double_optin variable to false.
Even the name of the file you changed would help.

Thanks!

Hi Shaon,

Is the add-on already updated? We’d like to test if it works the way we want it to.

Regards!

We have been testing by checking and unchecking the box which allows/disallows the ‘final welcom email’ to be sent out to downloaders. The result was the same in all cases, so we asked MailChimp Support to investigate the sign up form. They say it looks like the subscribers are being added via the API. So we need to check the call being used to make sure the ‘final welcome email’ isn’t set to send in the API call (the call will override account settings), as this seems to be where the signs are pointing.

Anyone?
