confirmed working by going back to 4.2.5

i have confirmed that upgrading to wordpress 4.3.1 causes the issue. I had an older dev site still running and it worked fine. As soon as I upgraded to 4.3.1 i can reproduce the issue.

i have tried with the whole site ssl.

I can get the administrator account to upload the featured image via front and back end.

When I login as a subscriber, i can upload the file but not the featured image in the front end.

I find it had to believe that all of the people out there using this plugin allow their users to login to the website without ssl to access the download manager.

when I set the page to https the file upload fails again.

neve rmind i just purchased the business pack.

i fixed the upload. It was a https plugin. Still have the question about license and domain though.
