Thanks Shahriar, but still no luck. I’ve tried the URL and the slug (which I read in a previous support post). Just shows the same screen as before.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

I have sorted out #2 and #3. However when I place the redirect shortcode it doesn’t work. When a user logs in, instead of being redirected it just says “You are already logged in” (see attached photo). I have used the exact short-code provide replacing the “the-redirect-url-here” with “http://xyz.com”

Hi Shahriar,

Thanks for the advice, am looking good so far but have more questions…

  1. When the user logs into the page with the [wpdm_user_dashboard] shortcode, is there any way to redirect them to a “Downloads” page rather than it showing their user profile?
  2. I can seem to get the category shortcodes to work. I can successfully place the shortcode on a page but nothing shows up.
  3. At present, with each individual download, a user can either click on the title or on ‘Download’. I only want the download button and not the ability to click on the title as I don’t want to post to open up. What template should I use?

Thanks again for your help.

Hi Shaon,

Thanks for the prompt reply and advice – perfectly clear and understood!

Next question:

I want there to be a ‘login’ link on my menu bar. Members with login details will click on this link, login to the site and then be automatically taken to the page showing the categories/packages that are available to them (and determined when we set up the user profile). Non-members will have the option to apply for membership which will need to be approved by us.

I created a page which has the front end user shortcode [wpdm_user_dashboard] and following that the shortcodes for each category. I assume that this page will do as I require, but I need a way to a login page to sit between the user and the dashboard page.

Thanks again for your help!
