Hi Nayeem,
Is there any news on this?
Best Regards,
Mihai
Hi Nayeem,
Ideally, it should be configurable if someone need/want to show/use them or not.
We would like them removed if possible.
As a last option, disabling them may do the trick… We want to keep read-only access from that web interface.
Thank you,
Mihai
Hi Nayeem,
Regarding the InvalidAccess, I think this is because the link is generated with a token for our account so this is why you cannot see it but that link just downloads the S3 downloadmanager add on.
The data that is important from that log is what is after the link:
“Unpacking the package…
The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
Return to Plugin Installer
Installed Successfully”
So the error seems to be: “PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature”
What do you recommend going further?
Best Regards,
Raluca
Hi Larry,
Thanks for the details, we already trying this approach but with no luck so we still need to check further.
Best Regards,
Raluca
Hi,
I was wondering if you got any feedback for me regarding the next steps?
Best Regards,
Raluca
Hi,
Due to security reasons, I cannot provide the wp-admin login credentials.
Please let me know what details are necessary to continue the investigation or if there is any test I can perform to help with the investigation going further.
Also, do you have any details on the log provided in my previous comment?
Best Regards,
Raluca
Hi,
I also have some additional information.
I’ve checked some logs in Chrome and found an error:
“Downloading installation package from https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/?wpdmppd=8ttnIHCT0LZazOkM1SBuxSZnuneTFyeKkCJX0-Of9fGcJdfoh4_wN_TTbl2LQVFSUSlKZEDAobtZXYJMo1f31A30a9MnsN24k8-3_vt7c6U6FICjj6elWhBaaIaPnF1GwFaDwRdrj3-qliQm7gDZ3w&ind=10&wpdm_access_token=5e74b98920e99x127723…
Unpacking the package…
The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
Return to Plugin Installer
Installed Successfully”
So it seems that the message Success is displayed even if there is an error at install time.
Looking forward to your next reply on this!
Best Regards,
Raluca
Hi,
My name is Raluca, I am a colleague of Mihai’s and I am checking this issue out.
I have checked the setting again. This time the license seems to be activated. I try to install: “All Add-ons ( wpdm-amazon-s3.zip )”, I get the message “Success!” but the add on is still not installed. I logged out and logged in again from the Downloads/Settings/Updates, pressed the install button again for that Add on and the install is still not done!
Please let me know what should be the next steps.
Best Regards,
Raluca
I think it’s worth mentioning that we have also updated WordPress to version 5.3.2.
Hello,
We are using Amazon S3 add-on version 2.7.4 and we are experiencing the same issue.
The “meta-box” seems to work OK, but the Amazon S3 browsing page has the same behavior as described by Roger.
I noticed that 2.7.5 version of the add-on is available, but the updates page of WPDM shows the latest version is 2.7.4
We would guess the using the new feature added in 2.7.5 version (Added multi-region bucket support) might fix our problem.
Not sure if it makes a difference, but I think it might be worth to mention that we have the “All-add-ons” pack, not only the Amazon S3 add-on.
When will version 2.7.5 become available there?
Thank you,
Mihai
