Hi there,
yes, but you are doing it on the facebook website (not the app and “Facebook Mobile Browser”) and with a direct package and not the real download page of the file cart / combined package download (go to /downloads , choose a package by marking it with the checksign, then click on the blue button, and fill out the form, then download).

Like in my video described.

Hi there, yes, responsive is not the problem, if you just make the browser small or use a normal mobile browser.
You have to go to the facebook app (on the smartphone), then try to download something inside of the facebook app (and its own IN-APP browser). Shared Links are opened in an own browser e.g. facebook or other apps. You can only check it directly in those apps, not with a testing tool for responsiveness.

Please have a look at that, because this is a very urgent issue, as you can not make advertisements via social media, if the downloads not working within social networks when using the apps.

thanks

Thanks, but I was talking about IN-APP Browsers, for example Facebook on mobile Phones. You are using a normal browser and that is working fine. But you can not download anything using a mobile phone and vie a in-app browser.

Any idea?

Thanks and best regards!

Hi there,
no, statistics is not tracking any downloads made with the plugin.
I’d like to have a list of the downloaded files in the “ContactForm 7” admin email, after someone has filled out the form and downloaded the files. Is this in any way possible?
Thank you

Can you please delete the screenshot of the page in this ticket or set it private?

You seem to have a download add on or something installed, right?
If I use Chrome and the auto download stars, it sends the form again.

Can you check that again?

Thank you very much

And is it possible to show the downloaded elements in the admin mail? So that I know, what has been downloaded?

Tim

Yes, I tested that, but also that has some errors/problems:
– Download Link in Mail doesn’t work (downloads an empty wpdm_cache file)
– Can’t customize the download-link-email
– Infinite loading of the CF7 form after submitting the form. Mails are sent, but the form is in a loading animation all the time and there is no feedback on the submit (https://www.dropbox.com/s/auqp35vgpkbce5o/Screenshot%202019-12-06%2008.24.54.png?dl=0)

This is very urgent right now and I need to get this working asap.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

BTW: Sometimes posts in this forum get deleted/not submitted and I don’t know why. I had to write this two times, because the first doesn’t show after submitting my reply to this ticket.

1) Thanks, that works!

2) Well, the download starts, but the problems with the “double submit” of the form then is still the same. After “click” the page/form gets submitted again (but empty) and then you get all the form-errors (Empty fields and so on). Another solution could be, to send the download link via Mail, but “download link via email” doesn’t work with form lock and file cart. How can I solve the problem?

Thanks and best regards

Hello Shahriar,
now I was able to set it up..basically it is working like intended.
I’m having a few problems, maybe you can help:

1. File Cart not showing file-title, only file-name.
The line <?php echo isset($fileinfo[$file])?$fileinfo[$file]['title']:''; ?><?php echo basename($file); ?> only echoes the basename. $file is not giving an ID, it’s giving 56982356filename.pdf. This way $fileinfo[$file]['title'] doesn’t work, because the $fileinfo array has (in this example) 56982356 as identifier. This seems to be an bug in the add-on.
Could you offer me a solution for that?

2. When ajax submitting a CF7 form, the “successfully sent” message will contain the download button for the package. If you click that button, the ZIP is downloaded, but the page/form gets “submitted” again and then you get many “field required”.
Is there a way to redirect the form to a “Thank you” page, and then show the download link there (or automatically start the download after submitting the form)?

Thank you for the help.

Best regards,
Tim
