Hey Nayeem,
as our client is asking if there’s already a fix available I’d kindly ask if you’re already working on this.
Sorry to bother and thanks in advance!
Hey,
no, nothing more so far.
I’d like to leave this thread open for as long as the issue is not finally resolved.
Alright, thanks for clarification in this regard.
Will wait for the upcoming releases then.
Thanks again for your swift responses. 🙂
Thanks for for your reply. I disabled it now.
Would you mind telling me which files you modified to fix the issue? Or in which updated version to expect this fix.
Thanks again!
Okay, please let me know if/when the provided admin account can be disabled again. Thanks!
Hey,
thanks for the fix! 🙂
The error in the JS console on that page is still there but it doesn’t seem to make any. problems, though.
And will you investigate deeper regarding the local storage issue related to updating from an older version?
Thanks again for your immediate support!
Hey, we checked this now and individual downloads are correct as expected.
Thanks again!
Another minor issue with the file cart:
When dowloading a custom pack via “Download all”-button on the my cart page, the cart is not emptied and the button shows a spinning indicator with error in JS console:
“Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘”
Hey Nayeem,
thanks for replying. But no, the issue comes up due to file cart data stored as local storage in the user browser’s cache so clearing the page cache with the help of a caching plugin won’t fix this.
Hey Nayeem,
thanks for the snippet which worked (changing the array arrow symbols of course)! I would use this only now and then for bulk editing all existing download packages.
Kind regards
Hi Nayeem,
well yes, the above mentioned roles should be the default and thus be applied to all existing (and if possible, all yet to be created) packages.
If you’d need more information, please be more specific.
If there are hooks that can be utilized, I’d be glad to use those in order to add such functionality.
thanks again!

Hey Nayeem,
actually multiple roles: editor, administrator, erzeuger (a custom user role)
thanks!
Hey Nayeem,
thanks for your resonse. So far, we don’t have any further needs in this regard. So it’s good to know there’s such an addon but not really needed I guess.
I’d like to be able to easily apply/grant access rights for all packages based on user role(s) instead of setting it one by one in every single package.
Either via preset option or via global setting or by defining it via hook or similar. dunno what’s possible on your side here.
I’m looking forward to hear from you. thanks a lot!
