I am going to the Settings > Updates page and clicking “Install” for the stripe add on. The “install” button changes to “Success!” but then the Stripe option never appears on the Premium Package > Payments tab. It’s like it’s not being installed.
I am trying to set up stripe. I keep installing the stripe add on, but it never shows up on the payments tab.
And also, where can I see the examples of each template style? If I click “preview”, all I see is the home page of the website open in a new window. This is not helpful to see the template styles.
Thanks.
Hello, I am following up on this, as it is unresolved.
I am receiving admin email notifications from WPDM when a new user registers for my site. Subject line reads “[My Site Name] New User Registration”
I am trying to edit this template, but it is not available under “templates” > “email templates”.
The problem is that when viewed in my gmail box, the emails subject line still reads “lorem ipsum”…
Here’s a screenshot:

And here’s a screenshot of the available templates in the WPDM email templates page:

I don’t see a template for new user notification. Where is this email generated, and how do i delete the “Lorem Ipsum” text and make edits?
Thanks.
Thank you. Disabling Bootstrap JS fixed the issue. If i enable Bootstrap JS, the problem starts again.
What am I giving up by leaving Bootstrap JS disabled? What features does it affect, and what will not work?
UPDATE: I have reverted to version 4.7.3, and the problem still exists. It appears that this issue started with an upgrade of the Avada theme.
Any help is appreciated.
I have checked that template, but there is no evidence of the “Lorem ipsum” text there. Where is it coming from?

Thanks, but there is no “full-width” option in the page template drop-down. See attached screenshot.
I am already using 4.7.7.
Hello,
This link is not working for me. It ends up linking to the home page, but doesn’t log out. Can you help?
Thanks
Regarding number 2, I”m not seeing that in my version, and i’m at the latest version (4.7.7 of download manager, 4.0.2 of premium packages).
I still see this:

Thanks. Is the complicated portion related to limiting the list to 30 days age or less?
Is it simpler to just have a list of all files, ordered by date, so that the most recent files appear at the top of the list, and then set the pagination to 50 files or so?
Thanks.
Thanks Shahriar,
I figured it out, but after the change the new link label looks like text, not a blue button like the rest of the link templates.
I’d like to retain the button, but change the button text to the new link label. Clicking the link label now results in the correct behavior.
Thanks.
Thanks for the reply.
My video is hosted remotely, and I have pasted the video’s embed code into the content area on the package details page, and it works just fine.
The link template shows a button called “Download”. I have cloned the template as you suggested and assigned the new template to the package page using the “Link Template” drop down menu. However, changing the drop down menu for the link template doesn’t seem to affect the actual link template. You mentioned “Use the new link template with your shortcode”, but I don’t know where to enter shortcode on the package details page.
Can you tell me what else I should try?
By the way, this is what a use with “edit_posts” privilege sees when looking at a package:

I have user roles set up with “edit_posts” capability, but these users still cannot edit existing packages, or the packages they created, even after the packages are published/approved.
Is there any role aside from administrator that can edit existing packages and create/edit new packages? I need non-admin users to be able to edit and manage existing packages, and of course, I don’t want to grant them admin privileges in order to do so. I would like to know which specific permissions/role privileges are required in order for a user to do this.
Thank you.
We are not using the standard wordpress roles, but do you know what privileges inside the editor role are required so that I can add those to the role I’ve created using the “User Role Editor” plugin?
Thanks, that worked perfectly.
I would like these user roles to edit packages from the back end, not the front end. These users have dashboard access, but the “Downloads” menu is different for them than for admins. They don’t see “Categories” for example. And when they click on “all packages”, they can see the packages listed, but they cannot click the title to edit. Again, they are in the back end, not front end.
How can I allow other users to edit packages from the back end without making them administrators?
Thanks, i edited the page template to remove the featured image. Looks better now.
One additional question: what code can I add to the page template to show a “Must login” type of button to users who aren’t logged in so that they know why there’s no ability to download?
