Further, after a customer pays, they are redirected to the orders page where they see the order is still “processing”:

If they click “order details” button, they see a “PAY NOW’ button proving that the system does not know the payment was successful.

AT this point, the software is unusable for me with premium products as the stripe add on is just not working properly. Please advise, thank you.

I also have noticed that the payment is successful in my Stripe account, however in WPDM, both order status and payment status are set to ‘processing’, but they should both be set to ‘completed’.

Is this problem related to the way I have set up my premium packages?

No Change. Order is immediately set to “processing” after credit card charge is completed.

I would appreciate your attention to this issue, as I have many customers complaining to me that they are unable to access their downloads after they pay. I am at risk of losing customers, and must find another solution if this will not work.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue with Stripe orders not automatically being set to “completed” status?

Support, could you please follow up with some assistance on this?

Any update on this? All credit card orders are currently requiring manual intervention to change status to “completed”, and my cart page is not usable because the rows are 10x wider than they need to be.

Also you haven’t addressed the issue where my cart page has rows that are too wide to be seen without scrolling to the right. see the image I attached in the original post please.

That works for me as well – I can see the credit card form. The problem is that when a credit card payment is successful (after entering the credit card details and clicking the “pay” button), the user is returned to the orders page, and the order is marked as “Processing”. It does not get marked as “completed” as it should. As I wrote above, it only works properly with the “test pay” option. Not with the Credit card / Stripe option.

I am able to get it to work with TestPay, but not with Stripe.

Also, the problem still exists with the Cart rows being too long to see on the page.

This is not fixed. Same issue, except you left “test pay” payment method activated for my customers. I have deactivated it. The Stripe payment method is still leaving orders at ‘Processing’ status, and my customers are emailing me telling me that they cannot download their items. I have to manually change their order status to “Completed”. Can you please help me fix this?

Now the UI is completely broken from inside the dashboard and I am not able to save any changes, including order status.

Please revert it to where it was before you modified it and fix the order status issue. I am not able to run my business like this.

Thanks to user “Derek” on this thread (https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/email-download-link-preview-shows-lorem-ipsum/) for providing a solution back in 2017. Not sure why I didn’t find this earlier.

Wanted to let the moderator and devs know that this “preheader text” content showing up in my gmail inbox is in fact coming from WPDM. You can modify it here:

SOLVED: Found the text in the “Hidden Preheader Text” in the template HTML source file (ie. /download-manager/email-templates/luminus.html)

I also see an issue when I add something to the cart, the button changes to read “Checkout”, but I can no longer see the button:

Why are so many things changing and causing issues?
