Hi there Shahriar, mine also says invalid license key when it only expires in December this year.
I did exactly what you asked, deactivate, download, install and activate the license key and it still says invalid.
I see the domain it is assigned to is my dev server, which is not correct.
Now all my documents are missing form the front-end, please advise.
So I just did what you suggested and my fear was correct, it deleted all my data from the previous version.

I have just purchased a new license for my existing Download Manager plugin, however when I add in the new license key it says invalid.
Do I have to take these steps…
Please deactivate and delete old version
Download latest version again
Install and active the latest version.
Deleting old plugin will not harm your existing data.
I am worried about my existing data.
