It is not working fine. I just checked multiple pages – it is still broken. If it is working for you, can you please share a screenshot of the same (taken from incognito)? I am 100% sure it is not fixed, yet.

If you install the free version of WPDM (feel free to delete PRO and install FREE if you want to check), the issue will be gone. But with the PRO version, the site breaks.

PS: IMO, Link Whisper has nothing to do with the issue. It was recently installed, yes – but no issues with it.

The above code work great except for one thing: The package name appears as:

username/filename.txt

I want to be just:

filename.txt

Thank you. There is one small issue though. When the user logs in, an empty page is shown in the right hand side. Meaning, no tab is selected by default. I wanted FILE HOSTING tab to be selected by default and it’s contents to be shown.

I am file hosting add-on, yes. And the users will upload files via front end page only, right?

What I’m looking for is this: When the user uploads a file, the file name should automatically be taken as package name.

?wpdmframe is NOT found in the line 40 of wpdm-file-hosting.php file. Are we looking in the right file? I could only find wpdmframe (without the ? mark) and that too inside the below code:

EDIT/UPDATE: I managed to solve the below-mentioned issue. Only the above is pending.

I performed this step:

From template file /wpdm-file-hosting/tpls/wpdm-file-browser-container.php remove the tabs you don’t need,

And the result is:

Only Package Link Option is shown. BUT, by default, the CONTENTS of ‘DIRECT DOWNLOAD’ tab is shown. The Title is not shown as I removed it’s code. But seems like there is some sort of default setting to show the contents of Direct Download tab.

Any workarounds?

Quick question: After I removed some line of code as you suggested above and if I updated the plugin, would all these lines I removed be added back? Or the changes I made will be intact?

Can anyone please help on this issue?

I just purchased and added the plugin. And that issue is resolved. But there is another problem now. I am not able to upload any files via the front end editor.

When I do this: Login > File Hosting > New Package | The popup to upload files would not show up at all. Which makes it impossible to use the front end file uploader. I will leave another reply [marked as private] with sample login details so you can login and replicate the issue.
