The problem is not solved but I disabled the admin temporary user because some of your changes (Block download links only setting and the Category setting you suggested) create a serious data breach and I can’t let it happen again, I prefer to use the [wpdm_my_downloads] shortcode that is the only shortcode correctly functioning with WPDM Advance Access Control

The problem was not solved, but rather you made all packages visible to everyone. This thing is very serious because users could see all the documents even if they were not associated with them and since they are PRIVATE documents this thing involves a legal risk.

I can’t understand why you get this error, I logged in with your user and it works well

But anyway let’s drop gutenberg since I don’t think that gutenberg is a must to use your plugin and your shortcodes.
It should be possible to use WPDM Categories shortcode without using gutenberg, right?
So let’s troubleshoot the issue WITHOUT gutenberg (I’ve just disabled it since I don’t like it)
The page I’m working on with the shortcode is https://www.antarescooperativa.it/105-2/
The package that doesn’t show in the list is https://www.antarescooperativa.it/wp-admin/post.php?post=15367&action=edit

if I write to you it is precisely because the package is not listed. The package in question has the category set and the member set correctly. I DO NOT use access role since I don’t use the role to give rights but the WPDM Advanced Access Control plugin as you can see from the thread title. I have given you the admin accesses so that you can see for yourself that the package is set correctly and I have given you the url of the pages to check the issue, if you do not know or cannot solve the problem that has arisen with the plugin recent update just tell me otherwise reread the thread and you will have everything you need to understand the problem.

It doesn’t work.
It shows just the restricted packages according to the Allow Access setting only,
but it ignores the Select Members setting (that is managed through the Advanced Access Control add-on).
On the contrary, [wpdm_tree] shortcode shows all the packages including the ones enabled through Select Members setting.
It also works with the category filter [wpdm_tree category=”certificazioni-uniche”], but the problem is that it is slower then [wpdm_category].

Hello Neyeem,

you mean the “Front-End Administrator Roles”?
There’s no way to set it up in that field since it’s written: “Caution! All users from the selected user roles will be able to manage all ( their own and others ) packages from front-end” so this is not the solution I’m looking for.

Or maybe I’m just looking in the wrong place!

What I want to achieve is to give the possibility to any registered user, to upload files and add categories and they have to be able to see and research only the files uploaded and the categories added by them!

Is it possible?
