Yes I see what WPDM Default Values add-on does, but it doesn’t allow for a bulk change to change all the packages to use the same theme page template (like full width page, etc depending on theme that I can see. Is there a way of bulk changing all packages to use the same page template (as in theme) not your page template

Do you understand?

Thanks Nayeem,

This doesn’t have anywhere in there about bulk changing the page template. ( like full width page, a page with left sidebar, … depending on your theme )

Hello @nayeem_riddhi,

Can you please get your developers to look at the absolute path again. I have noted that in the import file list, the path is incorrect compared to the value entered in the settings.

Shows path as /home/winefrig/…
Incorrect Path Shown.

This settings shows /home9/winefrig/…

The server administrators cannot see anywhere else this issue could be.

Looks like it’s back to you guys again.

What do I have them investigate? Do you happen to know what they should look into?

And what do I say to the server administrator? “An external plugin doesn’t work.”

What do you think they will say to me??? “Consult with the developers.”

Your developers have been pretty silent for the last few days.

What a cop out. “Works at my end, so it’s your problem.”

Are you telling me there is no one smart enough at your end to offer a solution?

Saying it works at your end doesn’t solve problems.

I’m absolutely baffled by your response to this.

I’ll review accordingly

Should there be different server settings for the plugin??

I too am experiencing this.

I’ve clear cache and am using one of the better cace plugins you have listed.

I need to refresh the page at least once to get doc preview to come up.

Any further development on what you think it might be?

When I go to import from the server. The filename is showing the absolute path. This is different to your demo where it just shows filename.

Where can I change this to show only the filename?? I don’t understand why it’s showing the full absolute path but I’m assuming this is why the import isn’t working and packages are not showing up.

Absolute path in filename

What’s going on here guys? I’ve done everything you have asked. Disabled every plugin, changed to default theme and your bulk import from the server is still not working. I’ve done some trouble shooting for you and identified what the issue could be but have had no further correspondance from developers.

We have paid for a plugin where we hoped support would be good. I understand you have a 1000+ people on your subscription but you owe it to work through your support issues.

I get you’re busy but this is why we pay you a lot of money.

I have hundreds of download file packages to create and working through them manually will take a long time. Had I known the delays I would have started it and I possibly might have been done. Because I thought you were onto it I put it off, but another week has gone past without resolutions. This is cost us money and customers aren’t happy.

Can you give me a timeframe for resolution? If it’s something at my end, I’ll change it. You just need to work with me.

No one has answered why my file name is showing full path to file and not just the file name.

Is that what is stopping import from server?

I’m not using a csv to import. I’m using files on server.

I have uploaded via ftp to the server.

Would a / in the filename cause the same issue??

Screenshot of filename

How do I change the filename field to not include full path??

in reply to: Filename showing full path to download #163534

ie filename shows as

/home/winefrig/public_html/glycolsales.com.au/wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/DOWFROST/DOWFROST/180-01272-01-dowfrost-heat-transfer-fluid-application-guide.pdf

[TITLE] the same.

I’m assuming the filename cannot include the / character.

All settings are the same as your demo but filesnames show full path.

I’ve uploaded the same file to your demo but it doesn’t show full path, just filename.

Will this cause the importer to not function??
