Hi Tanvir
I hope you are well.
Please could you answer my query – see below:
—————–
As previously discussed in respect of the ‘order sequence’ for the Download Files – please see the following ‘live’ examples of the Categories.
https://nfpsoccer.co.uk/downloads/2-youth-academy/
https://nfpsoccer.co.uk/downloads/3-senior-coaching/
As mentioned we need to be able to arrange these in a prescribed order )ie. 1,2,3,4 etc.
Many thanks
OK – I have that thank you – it does make things a bit more complicated given the number of files, but will do for now.
Regards

Hi
Since adding the files relating to the Packages I have noticed that the site and, in particular, the WordPress dashboard admin is very slow to navigate around – taking me a long time to move from section to section or to make changes!
We are Hosting the site with SiteGround.
Any ideas why and can this be resolved, please?
Thanks
Andrew B

I tired to “disable the single file download button” in settings that did not work?
Perhaps if I can explain how we are hoping the Downloads will work – then you can advise:
There are 3 main Categories: 1. Junior Coaching / 2. Youth Coaching / 3. Senior Coaching
each has a number of sub-categories, for example:
1. Junior Coaching
1a. Fun Practices and Warm Up Activities
1b. Technical and Skill Practices : Under 11 years old
1c. Game Related Practices
1d. Small Sided Games : Understanding 5v5 / 7v7
1e. Youth Academy Diary : Under 8 years old
In each of the sub-categories there will be a number of ‘individual sessions’ = download ‘Packages’ for the subscriber to choose from.
These Packages are sequential – so need to be organised from 1 > 100 +
Also: The sub-category ‘Packages’ should also be available to download as a ‘Group of Sessions’ – using the multiple ‘zipped files’ option.
Hope that is clear?
How do we best configure Download Manager to deliver this – PLEASE?
Thanks
Andrew B
Hello
Just to update you that with the CSV upload – the Tags have been added, however, not the Categories!

Andrew B
Thanks Tanvir
I very much appreciate your expert help – will be in touch.

Hi – Thanks for you reply
I’ve just had to do a restore from backup because the site lost all the ‘formatting’?!- which has lost all of the download files and Packages I added this morning.
Do you have any ideas why
1. wpdm 6.1.5 when will this happen? Can I go back to the previous version?
2. Ordering is a different issue. You can manage ordering after uploading the downloads through shortcodes parameter or in other ways in the page you will show the downloads.
Sorry I don’t understand Please could you explain?
Thanks
Andrew B
Hi Tanvir
OK – we are having some progress and success in that the ‘Download Files’ are being ‘linked’ to the CSV, and the Packages are ‘downloading’ 😉
However, we need your help to advise and sort out the following, please:
1. As mentioned the CVS is not allocating the Tags or Categories – I can add manually – but that’s not really an option given the number of files involved! (NB. Tags and Categories were working in previous tests)!?
2. How can we fix the ‘order’ the files so that they appear in a prescribed sequence within their category?
3. Please see: https://nfpsoccer.co.uk/download/tech-support-new/
a) Why do we have x2 ‘Download Buttons’ – when only x1 is required?
b) Why is the ‘File Title repeated x3 times – can the ‘Header title’ (shown in the grey block at the top under the logo) be different?
c) Can the ‘Comment’ option be removed from all packages (it has the option in the Package settings) by using the CSV – or other method?
Thank you.
Kind regards
Andrew B
Good morning
Thanks you for the latest advice.
I feel and hope that we are nearly there with getting this working!
Could you please answer the following queries:
CSV file:
1. ‘Categories’ and ‘Tags’ in the CSV are not being included in the ‘Package’.
2. On the CSV you have supplied as an example; what is the ‘character’ inserted into the Categories field ‘1. Junior Coaching : 5 Ð 11 year olds’ (this is a ‘to‘ in the package set up, ie. ‘1. Junior Coaching : 5 to 11 year olds’)?
3. You specify that the ‘download files’ are to be kept in the ‘download-manager-files directory’:
b) can the files be in separate ‘folders’ – relating to different categories – or are all files uploaded to ‘download-manager-files’?
Thanks
Andrew B
UPDATE
I’ve update the CSV taken out the ” ” which you said had to be include!
That works – the zipped file now has all x4 files!?
BUT – there are only x3 of the x4 files (missing junior9-12creatingshootingopps36.png) at: https://nfpsoccer.co.uk/download/group-dribbling-1-2/
Any ideas PLEASE!?
Hello again
I have been trialing the ‘new’ CSV file – with mixed results.
If you go to the ‘Packages’ you see the latest effort!
Note that whilst the files are identified ‘individually’ the Zipped file only show x2 of these?!
Also – the ‘categories’ and ‘tags’ are not work – except in: https://nfpsoccer.co.uk/download/group-dribbling-1-2/
Please could you review and HELP!
Thanks
Hi Tanvir
Thanks for your reply re NFP Soccer. I feel we are very close to sorting this out – hopefully with a bit of clarification from yourself please.
Whilst I note your comment about the CSV file I have a couple of observations:
1. what is the ‘character’ inserted into the Categories field ‘1. Junior Coaching : 5 Ð 11 year olds’ (this is a ‘-‘ in the package set up, ie. ‘1. Junior Coaching : 5 – 11 year olds’)?
2. You report that ‘all is working’ – however, looking at the ‘Packages’ the download files are still missing “Sorry! File not found!” (except for 1 file example).
NB. It would be really helpful if you could actually show me an example, using the files supplied, which actually works from the CSV > uploading the associated ‘download files’ > viewing the ‘Package’ > ‘successfully completing the actual ‘Download’ – including the ‘zipped file’ – where there are a number of files – with the option to download the individual file.
3. With reference to the above: You specify that the ‘download files’ are to be kept in the ‘download-manager-files directory’:
a) please confirm that this means uploading the files directly into the folder ‘download-manager-files’ – ‘just use the file name’.
b) can the files be in separate ‘folders’ – relating to different categories – or are all files uploaded to ‘download-manager-files’?
c) the example you show “keep them within double quotes” shows “/dir/path/…” does that mean we are to include “/dir/path/” with all the ‘download file names’?
NB. You don’t appear to have included this in the updated CSV sample you kindly sent.
I hope I have made myself clear.
Thank you again
Kind regards
Andrew B
Please can you get back to me with something positive soon!
This has been going on for weeks now – and we seem to be no further forward?!
Thanks

Hi
I’ve uploaded via FTP to the ‘uploads file’
Folder: NFP Download Manager Pro Test 6.422 – this includes the CSV file and the ‘download files’ associated to the CSV.
Over to you – thanks
OK thanks
The images can be sorted out from a Backup – once we have sorted the following issue.
I can confirm the image paths are valid – they are taken directly form the files.
Could you please simply explain the process of ‘linking’ the CVS to the uploaded image files we added by FTP?
For example: Are the files in a correct folder?
Thanks
Andrew
Further to this – I note that the images in the Media Library have all disappeared – any ideas?
VERY URGENT
Hello – looking at the website, we appear to have lost all the images on the front page!
Is this because of the change you made to the theme ‘Lighbox’ setting?
If so how do we get around that?
Please advise!
Thanks
Andrew B
Morning
For your ref:
I have and followed the CSV ‘sample’ (and read the associated documentation) that’s where we started!!
The problem seems to be with the synchronisation of the actual download image files and the CSV once uploaded to Download Manager?!
We are nearly there PLEASE can we get this resolved. See below for the CVS example
