I had set permalinks wrong.. I talked to hosting, they recommended if using dm to instal cloudflare, fixed and done that. Things seem to be better. I sent you login info with ftp.

When I try to upload the zip file for 4.0 I get ..

Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists /wp-content/plugins/download-manager/
Plugin install failed.

Where’s the support documentation or can you please upgrade my site.. this is getting to be ridiculous. I was told that dm would be working within a month of purchasing if I worked with you guys. Well we were working on it and it was fine until the latest wp upgrade and now I can only use dm pro, all the add-on I paid for are USELESS.. I really want to get a move on with this and SOON PLEASE!!..

I was having this problem as well. What I had to do to resolve it was to copy the contents of the description, save the package the first time, then paste the contents back in the description box and save again. The second time you save the contents should remain in the description box.

I found that when creating a package for the first time that the description will not save, it clears out completely once you save it for the first time. I found that the second time you save the content will stick, I now copy the description contents, save the file, then add the contents in again and save a second time so that the description sticks.

I call and ask.. all they tell me is one of my plugins or more is causing issues, probably because it hasn’t been updated since the new wp update came out.. I was told to use this godaddy plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/p3-profiler/ to check the health of the plugins. It was showing dm and add ons was using too many resources. I deactivated everything except download manager. now it’s fine unless i get an influx of downloads.

really hoping to update and that issues will be resolved. I really want to use the newsletter feature!!

Right now my theme developer are coming out with a major update as well as you. Once BOTH theme and plugin updates are available I will set it all up then because I really don’t want to set something up to find out I have to start all over again.

I’ve had to disable every wpdm plugin except for download manager.

By removing advanced access control I have been able to remove the restriction from my hosting company.. The premium package is still causing issues.. Hopefully these issues will be resolved with the update.
