Thank goodness for never needing to migrate data again!!, It took me 6 hours to migrate everything correctly, but it’s done. The new version works great and is a much cleaner UI, sucks it took 4 months to get it working right.

Oh and one last thing.. I cannot seem to access certain tabs..

Under the premium settings there are 2 tabs, payment options & tax, when I click on them they don’t do anything..

Under the template settings when I click on page templates it doesn’t do anything, I have to right click and open in a new tab for them to work.. I’ve tried chrome and safari and I have these issues with both browsers.

2. is there a way to edit [addtocart_form] short code.. it says PRICES, I want it to say price without the S.

4. Is there a way to edit the subscribe button on the lock options?

Oh as for the redirects, no I didn’t. Originally my permalinks were /year/month/post and that wouldn’t work with the new version so I changed my permalinks to just post titles. I had been dreading changing permalinks because I had no idea how but there is this nifty tool by yoast to easily change them.. https://yoast.com/change-wordpress-permalink-structure/

I’ve tried with v4.0.3 and not all my content was transferring so I sat on the old version hoping it would work in 4.0.4, no such luck, for some stupid reason none of my lock content transferred, I have over 130 packages so I had to update them all. I also switched to a genesis theme because my theme wasn’t working well with either version.

I’m happy with the new version now that I’ve updated, almost have my store all set up. It’s a much cleaner UI. Hopefully they never make me transfer content like that ever again!! If you have to change old package short codes to new ones, there is a plugin called search and replace, I made a list of all my package names and id #’s and wrote the new numbers beside them for each package so I didn’t have to edit 130 posts. search old code [wpdm_package id=#] and replace with new code [wpdm_package id='#'] Make sure to enter EXACT info with search and replace by entering the entire code as only editing #’s could pose a serious problem and make sure to back up first.

NEVER MIND.. I just spent 6 hours updating everything.. FINALLY upgraded to the new version.. thanks for nothing.

Some help on this would be nice.. why isn’t my content transferring with 4.0.4……

If anyone is looking for an easy way to replace old short code, use the plugin search and replace, search the old short code and replace with the new one..

I’ve upgraded my hosting, because you telling me your plugin should work on shared hosting was a LIE, and I’ve switched to a genesis theme now and can you believe it.. YOUR plugin still doesn’t work right because I can’t migrate and keep all my content.

breaking your own plugin on your clients is SO rude and REALLY BAD BUSINESS!!!.. I still can’t migrate with ALL my content.. this is getting to be really annoying!!!!

I edited mine by creating a custom template, when editing the templates there are short codes on the right side.. use [thumb_url_WxH] changing W & H to pixel size you want.

Thanks Ram1234, that was a huge help. there is an error in the error log.. SoftException in Application.cpp:641
I looked into it and it has something to do with mail, I don’t have any mail accounts, the only thing I can think of is mail for dmpro when people subscribe, so maybe the lazy download add on might help, also looking into other hosting options.

also I have almost 150 files which means I need to change short code on that many posts.. what a PITA!!

where the template should show I’m only showing the template id. I had read somewhere else that someone was having the same problem and the reply was a fix was coming in 4.0.4

Is there a way to clear out an old migration???

my lock info did not transfer, I don’t know how to set the option to ask for a name along with email, and it’s not saving MY link template it keeps reverting to the mp3 one.

forget the link template issue.. not all my settings transffered so it had a different template option.. still getting blank page for download packages, maybe that’s also a template issue, I don’t know.. What a pain in the ass to have to edit all the package short codes.
