Hello Nayeem,
Thank you for looking at my issue. Unfortunately, the ‘hack’ you’ve applied is not the ideal solution to the issue. I have editors who add content and they are are not coders, so asking them to place <p> tags with <div> tags when they add an ‘inline’ document download is not ideal.
Also, having the <div> tag instead of <p> causes CSS issues, as we use the CCS margin-bottom on <p> tag.
I would appreciate if you could take another look and see you can solve this issue without a hack.
Regards,
Sean
Any news Nayeem,
It has been five days.
Dear Nayeem,
The URL is correct. The Page was Private, so you had to log in to see it; I have set the Page to Public.

Hello Nayeem,
Hope you are well.
Unfortunately, this thread is a continuation of the issue; it seems I have an issue which I can’t resolve.
https://joinedupcarederbyshire.com/testing-area-only/
I have inserted various packages within a paragraph of text, but as you can see, some of the packages start on their own line, like a clear:left has been performed.
Any ideas?
Absolutely perfect! Thank you.
Can you tell me what ‘changed’, what is the theme, a plugin and what file you edited to fix this?
Dear Nayeem,
Yes. Same issue. It seems either an updated to the WPDM plugin or my theme, the displaying a document inline with the paragraph text is no longer working.
Can you fix and informed me what caused it so I know for the future.
Best regards,
Sean
Hello Nayeem,
A few months ago, you did some custom work making the package download appear inline with the paragraph content.
It seems the custom work you completed is now broken due to either updated WordPress, themes or plugins.
The development of the website has moved on, so I have created you a Page to view the issue:
https://joinedupcarederbyshire.com/testing-area-only/
Your user account has not change, log on details are still the same. Details are in the thread above.
Can you fix and advise me on what changed to break it? Is it a CSS selector, or something in the theme or your plugin?
Best regards,
Sean
Dear Nayeem,
Thank you, thank you! This is now exactly what I am after! #Salute
If you check the Page, you will see the final result.
https://joinedupcarederbyshire.com/publications/
This should be a feature within the WPDM application or an addon. Result. #VeryHappy
You can close the ticket.

Dear Nayeem,
Yes. A Link Template:
I have started a Link Template: NHS Direct File Download
But, I can’t get the Link Template to be inline with the text with a paragraph as displayed in the graphic:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/12BMxr_kq921gz7FuOuvcErLV1R24LnoA/view
Can this effect be achieved? I have a feeling it can’t because each Link Template is surrounded by the “w3eden” DIV container.
Let me know.
Hello Nayeem,
Not quite what I am after. Please view this image:

Hello Nayeem,
I am trying to achieve this effect:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/12BMxr_kq921gz7FuOuvcErLV1R24LnoA/view
But can’t.
I have created a Link Template, NHS Direct File Download, but when displayed, there is always a DIV container around the template, <div class=”w3eden”>, I can’t see to get rid of that DIV container for this Template only, so that I can achieve this effect.

Dear Nayeem,
Yes, I am using the Themify Text Builder module. The Themify is fully working. You may have an extension that is prohibiting the framework from working.
Sean
Hello Nayeem,
The Link Template is ‘NHS Direct File Download’.
On the Page, ‘Publications’, I have a text module (using the Themify Framework) and in the text, you will see the WPDM Shortcode.
Best regards,
Sean
Hello Hayeem,
The URLs so far are:
https://ddics.michaeloglesby.com/publications/
https://ddics.michaeloglesby.com/freedom-of-information/
But I would like to complete disable the title link to the Post Type and have users click the Title link to download instead; is this possible?
Best regards
Sean
