Created a new package from scratch and same error “File not Found” occurs
I see the files and directories now work, but an=m getting a “file not found” when trying to download a linked file.
Thank you.
Is there a patch I need to download?
OK, I am starting there. My client is adamant on the FTP solution and not staying with the AWS option. What would be the best next step?
Some notes:
The FTP login they are giving will be read-only
There have been folders added, but we cannot click to navigate. Instead, the plugin asks to add the folder name as if it were a file
Thank you
Do you think if I setup an S3 account the Amazon s3 storage add-on would work easier?
Unfortunately it is not my server so I cannot control the FTP. Additionally, the FTP does not allow for folder navigation.
Thank you for looking into this.
Hello? Help please.
I still get the error when trying to download. The download just creates a text file with the message “Error!”.
Directory should be good. Can you recheck?
Yes. That is my issue. Our host said this:
Unfortunately, the way this plugin is currently set up will not be compatible with our environment. It looks as though the external FTP server is trying to open up a new port when trying to communicate back with our server, which we don’t allow for security purposes. One possibility however is getting in touch with the plugin developers and asking if this plugin offers a “passive” mode, which should work on our end.
Can you setup the passive mode?
It still did not show the files
We swapped it to traditional FTP
Hello. Files still do not show. I re-entered and saved the info. Still no luck
Are we ready to use?
Much appreciated. Anxious client keeps asking me 🙂
hello. just checking in. Do you have a new completion time?
How are we looking?
Hi. Any update?
Do you have an ETA on when this would work?
Many thanks!
I contacted the support on the hosting we are using. Here’s their response

My question is do you offer a passive mode?
Do you have any timeline on the new update? I only ask because I am working with our client to make a decision on the interim solution.
Thanks!
