I have to follow up to say that I managed to get in touch with Shaon just after posting this and he fixed the issue on the spot. While I had a bad experience the first time around, he certainly redeemed himself the second time around. It was a problem in the source code and he has assured me that it is going to be fixed in a new release in the coming days.

Hi Shaon,

Unfortunately, I just got a call from the client saying that the functionality still doesn’t work. In fact, the issue now appears to be that it is not saving the users that should have access to specific files, so the pages that display files visible to only certain people don’t show anything, even though I’ve tried to set it so that only particular people can view the file. I’ve been sure to log in as them, and still nothing. Can you please reopen this issue? The client is supposed to launch this site to their president tomorrow and I don’t want to be waiting another three weeks to have this fixed.

Also, in some of the demos I’ve seen, there’s a setting on the Settings page where you can set the deafult Link Template and Page Template – they’re missing on my site. Can you please see what the issue there is?

Let me know if you’ve lost the login credentials – the old ones are still good.

Hi Shaon,

I’ve just checked this forum again to see whether I had somehow missed an update from you, but sadly, there is still no update. I also double-checked the user logs on the website in question and you haven’t logged in since 3/17/12. All I want to do is hear from you – what’s the issue, do you know what the issue is, when can I expect a resolution? Please just tell me something – this is getting ridiculous.

You promised a reply in a few hours, but it’s a few days later now and I still don’t see a response. Can you please update me on the status?

Shaon,

I should also point out that the documentation indicates that the settings page should have an option for setting the default page and link templates. My installation does not show these options. Can you please elaborate? Let me know if you need login information for the site.
