Thanks for all your help I have what I need now. This is what I did.
I changed my categories link template to “link-template-audio” this doesn’t have the download link (zip file)
I also cloned your page template “Single Column, Flat” and just removed the [download] section to remove the download link (zip file) from the page.
I am good to go now.

I need to follow up on this.
what name do I call the zip file? Does it go under the www/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/cache folder?
In this folder when I use cPanel File manager I see many file names but the file names are always different. For example
Tea-Party-1406137274-53cff3bab946c.zip and Tea-Party-1405702540-53c9518c17593.zip
I am ok with this workaround just need to know how to do it correctly.

Can I just zip the files myself and upload it? I just need to know how to point the package to my zip file I upload if possible.
I want to give the clients access to download either the package (all files zipped) or download one file at a time (this part works fine).
I cannot increase the cache as its 512 MB and usually around 300 MB free at most times.

Thanks Shanon,
This worked great. This is a great plugin and all I was saying is you get way too many questions like this and maybe in FAQ you can add it there instead of users asking you. This seems like a lot of work for you to keep answering these type of questions so if we can search for it we will do it ourselves and leave you alone to program, 🙂
Keep up the good work.

He has very limited documentation so I had the same headache as you when I first installed it.
The free version had the icons under download manager the pro version has the icons under downloads. Important information he left out.
From what I can see you do not need to activate a license for the pro version.

I also have this complain where I cannot add shortcode for categories. In the free version I just added this to my page and every time I add a new package I just add it to that category without needing to update my page.
With the pro version I have to manually update my page with any new package I add with the shortcode for the package. This is a waste of time.

I went and download this tinymce. Installed it and activated it but no bottom anywhere in WP or DM.
Your documentation is very poor and very limited so it’s very hard to find anything and many questions come up on how to do anything.
If you had good documentation you wouldn’t get so many questions.

I bought the pro version and the zip file contained DM 3.3.8 and 4.1.2 but they don’t didn’t say pro. I think his zip file names are wrong but cannot tell since my plugin does say pro.
Also got expo.zip but no idea what that is.
