@MgBlondy: I have the same problem on my site. Before installing this plugin, my site was running really fast…. after installing it, my site speed has been ground to a halt. Average load times are now 19-30 seconds… which is crazy slow.
The only thing I have found to help with this is to use a Caching plugin in like WP Super Cache. It helps, but is only a temporary fix.
I hope that this gets looked at soon.
