I have this same issue and the support team has me waiting now nearly two weeks. Only last week they said they identified the error and it would be fixed but I’m having to jump in your thread to try and get them to answer my question – WHEN WILL DROPBOX BE FIXED????????????

I have deactivated and deleted WordPress Download Manager. I have installed a new version as you requested but still have the same issues.
This has to be a bigger problem than I thought. Can you get a developer to check the code and find out what is going on in the background?

As you are checking would you have made some edits to my system as the ‘Attached Files’ is not working on the individual downloads page? Please see the image.

Hello, The ‘Select Member’ option on each individual download file screen is NOT working. It doesn’t pick up the members by name as it should. Can you please look into this?

I need to create a custom role – not a category. I have issues with the my ‘select member’ option in the individual file options so I’m just checking with you as to the best way to create custom roles on the plugin to test if this might be the issue. I have 5 users in specific roles but the ‘Select Member’ doesn’t pick them up when I click on this option for some reason.
Can you please give me the best solution to add custom roles on this plugin??????? Please??????????

thank you for logging in and just looking at the error I’m explaining to you. I have gone in as well and disabled all the plugins, I also changed the theme as well and then completely loaded a new version of WordPress Download manager and still the ‘Select Members’ filed does not work.
Can you please take some time and look at my issue as I’m not sure why this is happening and it is related to the plugin itself as I’m not using anything outside of your normal Plugin addons and I’m also using the Attire theme which you developed.
Can you please deal with this as urgent?
I have different user groups for example Administrator, Shop Manager, Subscriber, Custom Role 1, Custom Role 2, etc.
What is the best way to create these groups so they work on WPDM?
Do you have some instructions on how I can do this so that the plugin reads the groups correctly?
