Nayeem,
Restoring from a backup as the widget and the widget logic now is broken. Multiple widgets are appearing on the site in the wrong areas now. I will spin up a staging site for us to troubleshoot moving forward. But from looking at this, did you have a chance to look over the Industry Articles page? We are using Siteorigin pagebuilder to add these widgets.
Hi Nayeem,
Can you roll back the changes you just made? This is the clients live site.
Perfect, thank you!
Hi Shahriar,
I am using a carousel feature that is part of SiteOrigin page builder(see attached screen grab). I am able to sort via post type and taxonomies to choose the download packages I want to include. But, I am unable to specify a particular sort order. Wondering if a plugin for WP Downloads could be created that adds a value in the package admin screen to assign a sort order value to each package. This way I could assign, as an example, a product brochure is always a value of 1, and always appears first in any list or carousel.
Thanks, and let me know your thoughts.
Hi Hasibul,
What would it take to add a sort value to each file entry in Admin? Custom plugin?
The reason I ask is, I am pulling in WP Downloads via a Post Carousel function. So, it grabs list of downloads via a Downloads Post Type/Taxonomies.
Awesome, thank you Shahriar!
No worries Shahriar, still able to use short-code to add documents to posts. Thanks.
That worked, thank you. Surprised the Pantheon tech support didn’t know about their own plugin that fixes this issue.
Yes, Pantheon. I will try this plugin, thank you.
Only error I see in php error log(see attached). Thx.
Hi Shahriar,
Here is the error message I am seeing in the hosting dashboard(see attached). Thank you.
Thank you for the quick response Shahriar. I will do as suggested and report back.
I have a similar need, but to only to direct download one file. So as an example, you hover over a wp download link on the front end you will see a “#” instead of the download URL. Anyway to display the direct download URL on the front-end?
