RESOLVED: There is no exception thrown when the max file size (mine was set to only 20M in the php.ini) is exceeded.
Feature Request: Is there a way to add an error alert or some kind of message to when a file size has been exceeded. There is just no indication from the page, it just doesn’t seem to work, it seems to just fail. Thank you.
Doesn’t add access? I am not sure what this means. Where did you make your changes?
Also, I just tried again, in an existing and a new document and was unable to get Deer_Park.pdf to upload. It still does not work as expected for me.
Additionally, there is the setting that allows for the script to rename a file if there are duplicates, couldn’t (and shouldn’t) this same script detect invalid characters or spaces within the file name and rename the file before saving?
Thank you, and I look forward to your response.
Also, I was successful in uploading a PDF using the Free version of WPDM earlier yesterday morning, before upgrading to pro.
I am experiencing the same issue. I am unable to attach documents to the upload window, either by drag/drop or selecting files from the file browser. Cache cleared and upload folders set to 777.
Additionally, I am able to upload JPGs but not PDFs. (I have confirmed there is sufficient memory available for these PDFs on the website, so it is not a memory issue).
