I have added the default values add-on. Luckily Cheryl gives good advice. I have fixed the downloads temporarily, but I would still prefer the inline download form as opposed to the popup form. Please advise.
I have checked all of my plugins. No conflict to be found.
I’m not sure what you checked when you were in my site – but it’s the template that isn’t working. I created a new template without the download_link_extended and I can get that one to work in preview as well as on my live site after clearing the cache. It must’ve happened with the new update to 6.0.6? I didn’t have this problem until then.
Here’s the problem – I do NOT want to switch my template for all 250 downloads. What can we do to fix this?
I disabled the cache as well as have cleared the cache several times. No luck.
I will look around the console and send a private reply with another login. Cheryl and I are getting ALL the emails from users, so anything we can do to move this forward quickly will be so helpful.
Same thing here. Download does not initiate after email is entered and submitted.
Here are the errors that I’ve received just today:

Hi,
I am also getting feedback from readers with this error – just within the last week, even on old downloads. Would you please advise? Thank you!
This is very frustrating. I understand that it’s working for you, but even with turning everything to instant download, it’s not working properly. I had someone email me today (from my mailing list) that said EVERY email I’ve sent she’s tried to download the file and she gets this error. Please, what am I supposed to tell these customers? I’m going to lose potential followers and good customers. Is it possible a browser issue? A certain operating system?
I agree! I’ll let you know if it continues or if I can get it to reproduce. Thanks for all of your help!
Hi again!
Still not working…people are still getting the error after I changed the setting. I set it at 100. Any other thoughts?
Charynn
Thank you! I’ll go update that now.
