No man with this plugin you can’t!
Help please.
Also can you help me understanding?
I set ftp settings inside ftp tab, what is “FTP Auto-Import Directory”? Is it the directory in where I want to import the files? or the directory of the remote ftp FROM I want to export the file?
I just want to import one directory which has everything inside it, how should I set the csv? (The directory has inside the “files” dir you told me to create)
Do I just need to use this “http://yoursite/?importcsv=1” to import files?
Thanks in advance..
Just to be even more clear, I like how packages thing works, I link a folder to a package and it shows you all files inside. I just wanted to know if there was a way to show, not only files, but also folders.
Example, I link “Download” folder to a package; it contains “document1.pdf” file and “Important documents” folder, which has inside it “Important document1.pdf” and “Important document2.pdf”. Right now the plugin shows you all three files without the division I made with subfolders. I wanted to have, in the frontend, “document1.pdf” –> download | “Important documents” –> download (that folder could also be opened to show you the other two files).
I hope this time I was clear enough, I’m just asking if this is possible.
Thanks in advance.
Again, i don’t need to upload from frontend, my client will upload from ftp, not from wordpress. I want to show an ftp tree that can be navigable by users to download, hence when you upload something IN THE FTP the user can download it from wordpress.
Is this possible?
Yes, exaclty, i want to show a backend ftp folder, for example Marketing, and show it only for marketing users that can navigate it and download, ecc…
Is this possible?
It doesn’t work, it just give me the string ‘[wpdm_frontend flaturl=0]‘.
Plus I don’t really want people to upload things from the site; I just need something that shows you the tree of folders/subfolders and files, WHEN uploaded from ftp.
wpdm_tree shows you the tree based on files of the category of wordpress, not an ftp folder, uploaded from ftmp.
UPDATE: I tried the shortcode on my dashboard page, it says that I don’t have access to it (https://easy-lift.com/dashboard – it’s in italian but you can see the error)
UPDATE 2: I tried again and managed to use it, but that’s not what I needed after all, so I resend you to my main request.
The shortcode doesn’t work, how do I use that?
Do I need any extra plugin?
Hello,
thank for the changes, I learned something new, but that’s not what I wanted.
I’d like to navigate the tree before downloading, exactly like your demonstration (https://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/tree-view/).
But I want to see this when someone upload the tree of documents and folders directly in ftp! Is this possible?
Sorry, you weren’t admin, now you can login!
Thanks for the response; actually, as I wrote, I already tried this plugin, but didn’t manage to make it work as I intended. This right now works but it only shows me every file without folders and subfolders. Is there any parameter that I missed to do this, or any other thing that I can do?
Thanks in advance
