Thanks, Nayeem.
1. [wpdm_packages] with categories parameter does not seem to be working. Both [wpdm_packages categories="grasshopper"] and [wpdm_packages categories="dynamo"] shows the same contents which is a combination of both categories. Additionally, the numbered button below the carousel links to cp=1, cp=2 pages which rerender the entire website and forces all category tables to go to the second page as opposed to refreshing the individual carousel in which the button is located.
2. order with asc does work. Thanks.
3. I’m going to purchase the WPDM Pro version to see if we can start customizing the templates here. If not, I’ll reach out to the custom upgrade service team.
4. I’m also going to purchase the user review add on to integrate this feature.
Thanks a lot for your continuing support. Much appreciated.
Also, wpdm_category shortcode does not seem to be working.
Thanks Nayeem. I’ve tried using wpdm_packages shortcode. I was able to change the template but categories parameter does not seem to be working. Does wpdm require specific slug?
This is awesome. Thanks, Shahjada! What changes did you make to get the category page running?
Thanks, Nayeem. It’s great that Elementor integrates WPDM shortcodes. I need to display five to six popular file contents from each category on the front page. It doesn’t seem that this type of responsive list is available as default in the available shortcode. Can you walk me through how to set up something like this? AppMarket theme has a similar feature that I want to incorporate in my site, but since it’s not an e-commerce site, I won’t be able to continue with the AppMarket theme. Thanks.
What shortcode do I need to create a gallery on the homepage with five recent or five most downloaded files in each category? Similar to how the homepage in AppMarket Theme is set up but I’d like to customize it.
Thanks Shahjada. AppMarket is closest to what I need at the moment, and I need to use the “More” button to show all contents of each category without enabling the e-commerce feature of the “Premium Package” plug-in. Any support I can get to solve this?
Thanks
Thanks, Shahriar. The category page is working now, but this opens a bigger issue for me. I’ve actually uninstalled the Premium Packages previously because it turns on commercial language. I’m building a knowledge resource library where users can share plug-ins and source codes. It’s an opensource community site and not intended to be an e-commerce site. Therefore, I cannot use any commercial languages such as “free.” I also need to disable the “Pricing & Discounts” tab in the package settings when users post their files to remove the commercial nature. So my question is:
1. Is it possible to activate the category page without using the premium package?
2. If not, is it possible to change the text of the “free” button to “download” and deactivate the “Pricing & Discounts” tab?
Thanks
Thanks Nayeem. Just emailed you the info.
