That sounds like a feasible approach. Can this be done with the bulk-import-from-CSV function, by putting a URL in the sourceUrl field instead of a file path?

Any clues for the PHP settings other than the max_execution_timeout?

That would be great Shaon, or another option might be to provide a “resync” button to recalculate the file sizes.

The way it is now, in order for me to make sure the file sizes are correct after uploading the new versions of the files, I have to reimport via CSV. In order to do that without duplicates, I have to delete the file packages first for those categories. This has 2 bad effects:

1. The downloads page is temporarily blank while I delete these and reimport.
2. The download statistics end up having multiple entries for the same files because the package IDs are different.

So, I’ll be on the lookout for the update, whatever that may be. I appreciate your hard work and look forward to it!

It took me a while to get it working as well. I eventually figured out that the file paths have to be absolute in the CSV file and have nothing to do with the directory that you can choose on that page.
