I ended up doing a bulk import of all the files and named them all manually. You can close this support request.

So I can not use the file that I exported, to re-import in to a brand new site? I am sorry but I do not mean to sound like ungrateful, but what is the point of the export feature then, if you can’t reuse that file to re-import?

Looking at the WordPress Import feature, there’s a list of 7 or so data formats I can import from like Blogger, LiveJournal, and WordPress. I guess you suggest WordPress since I exported this from my old WordPress site and I can import that way? There is a line under saying ‘If the importer you need is not listed, search the plugin directory to see if an importer is available.’ Is there a different Importer I should look for? I haven’t done anything yet, I wanted to ask first.

Or am I looking at doing the bulk file import option. None of my files have to move between anywhere. They have always lived on my host server and I see them in my Download Manager’s Import/Export window.

Thank you,
Brett

Hi and thanks for following up.

Before taking my old site down, I did a CSV export from the plugin so the file is already formatted correctly with all the proper fields/columns. This exported file is what I’m using to try to re-import back in to the plugin.

I’m a little hesitant to do the bulk file import in the first steps because I’ve already gone through and have done a lot of work with the original set up of the plugin. I will if we can’t get the CSV file working but I’d rather not right now, anyways.

I did supply the csv file in that dropbox link and credentials to log in if you’d like to try in the private message above. Maybe there’s something in the logs stopping the import from happening?

Thanks,
Brett

I’m sorry I should have added, here’s what I have now for a shortcode, it’s in ascending order but I’m guessing that is listed by order of how it’s added to the downloads. I need it to be alphabetical.

[wpdm_packages categories="installation-instructions" order_by="title" order="asc" items_per_page="200" template="customevenlitelinktemplate" cols=4 colspad=2 colsphone=1]

Thanks!

On my Downloads page, the headline/h3 font used for the file title is what I want to change:

I supplied dashboard access in the private reply above to get in to the backend. I’d attach a screenshot but I can’t find where to do so.

Thank you!

I did slip in another question in my last reply. I’m trying to reduce the size of the font being used for the file titles but it isn’t changing. I tried adding this CSS to my style sheet. What am I missing?

.w3eden h3, .w3eden .h3 {
font-size: 14px !important;
}
