The file browser root was the issue and it wasn’t updating because of wordfence. I deactivated wordfence, updated the browser root, then the plugin worked, turned wordfence back on and plugin still works fine.

It would be a nice update to to code it to verify the ability to browse and if there is a problem with access to the browser root to display an error, rather than a blank box.

I reinstalled the extended shortcodes and the tree is back

Thanks!

It’s been a long time since I installed download manager and some of items in the specialty pack, so I don’t remember, is the browse feature built in to download manager, or is it an add on? If so, which one?
Thanks

I have the DM Special pack, but can’t tell by the .zip file names which one I need to install (or re-install)…

The issue was resolved when I tried again to install and this time I deleted the plugin from inside WP, not just renaming the plugin folder on the server. I was originally worried I would loose my setting, but that didn’t happen and all is running well now.

That was a simpler solution and faster than setting up admin access for someone else to install it.

Hello,
I deactivated the old plugin, deleted it (just renamed the folder), uploaded the new version and activated it and got this messages on the plugin page… and then an error on every web page and no file listings where they used to be… what did I do wrong? Thanks in advance, Bob

This is where I used to have a listing of all media in a tree view:
