Pleeassee let me have some info, as I need to proceed with my project:

Is the ‘page-template-1col-flat.php’ somehow excluded from executing php-code?

And if yes, how can I turn the php-execution on again?

What I’ve found out: Could it be, that PHP isn’t executed within the template files although they’ve got a .php file-extension?
