Hello are you still there Shaon?

The auto notify all users is still not working on the portal.
Could you help us asap please as we need to get this done by the next few days.

Hi Shaon,

Thanks for your help.
We just run a couple of tests, unfortunately it’s not working for us, all registered users/members do not receive any emails as soon as a new package/file is uploaded.

Could you take another look at the portal again and could you also let us know which files did you modify so we can put that in our coding documentation for future programming/development reference.

Thanks Shaon

Hi Shaon,

Could you retry the cpanel please?
I just tried with that username and password it works.

There will be only about 60 – 80 users. So that should not crash the server?
Thanks Shaon, please let us know how you go with setting up that cron job in our cpanel.

Hi Shaon,

Thanks for your reply.
I just tried that ‘Notify Subscribers’ by ticking the box while adding a new package.
Unfortunately it still doesn’t work, subscribers still don’t receive any notification.
Could you explain step by step about how are we supposed to make this ‘Notify Subscribers’ work properly please?
Is the the correct procedure:
1. Create ‘Subsriber List’
2. Since we already have some users in our wordpress, so we just use the ‘Import Registered Users’ function to import the users into the WPDownloadManager newsletter/campaign Subscribers
3. Now do we have to ‘add campaign’ ?? Or can we skip this step and just jump on the ADD NEW PACKAGE page and just tick the ‘Notify Subscribers’?

Did we miss anything there perhaps? i.e. Do we have to create a campaign or the campaign is not related to ‘notify subscribers’ whenever a new package is uploaded to the website?
Do we have to enable SMTP? At the moment this is disabled.

All we really need is notify all the users whenever a package is uploaded, that’s all, but this is getting very frustrating.
Shaon, wouldn’t it be better for you to log on to our site and have a look at the settings we have?

Thanks Shaon

Ops, haven’t finished question number 2:

2. When you say ‘Send Message To Subscriber’, do you mean that these Subscribers have to manually subscribe to each ‘package’ on the front end?
