Thanks for the reply.

Ok, is there any other way of doing it? I have a lot of files to add. For example, on one page alone, I have 7 categories with 100 files to split across them all – it’ll obviously take a long time to add each single file individually and assign categories etc. I hoped that having the ‘package’ would make the process a lot quicker and slicker.

Is there a shortcode that displays a list (with icons) of all files within a category that can be directly downloaded?

Thanks again for your help – I guess I need to work out whether Download Manager Pro is quite what I am looking for…

Thanks for the reply and the change you made does indeed help, but…

…perhaps I am using the wrong shortcode? What would I need to use to display all of the downloads in a package on a page, without first having to click the title?
