Can I just ask before you close this thread, can you only make custom page templates in Download Manager Pro?
I’ve duplicated an example version to create what I need, but when I put it in wpdm-assets > page-templates I can’t see it in the page template package settings.
I can see it as an option if I leave it in plugins > download-manager > src > Package > views > page-templates, but obviously this will be overwritten when the plugin is updated.
Thanks,
Mark
Same problem! Nearly every update this happens and there are issues with auto-updates. Really puts me off adding a pro license to more of my websites!
Hi Shaon,
Thanks for the fixes, but I think it’s ridiculous that the shortcodes generated in the free version of your plugin, don’t work in the PRO version.
You should make it clear to people that before upgraded, be aware you will have a lot of work to convert your websites shortcodes.
Had I known the amount of work involved, I wouldn’t have upgraded. My client has lost business because of this issue and I have had to do a lot of unpaid work to fix it.
Regards,
Mark
This shortcode doesn’t work at all: [wpdm_package id=445 template="link-template-default-ext.php"]
And this one, the appearance is completely different and not what is required: [wpdm_category id="fca-procedures_iar," order_by="field name" order="asc"order_by="field name" order="asc" cols="2" colspad="2" colsphone="1" toolbar=0 item_per_page=45 template="link-template-default.php"]
Although the above issue is fixed, it hasn’t resolved the broken links. A lot of the shortcodes generated in the free version are not displaying the same results for the PRO version.
Will it be resolved if I downgrade to the free version, as it affects too many pages to alter all the shortcodes?
I’m experiencing the same issue. Upgraded to PRO. Activated new PRO plugin (deleting old free version). Entered license, but just getting a spinning notification. This has broken some pages of my website and my client is now losing business! Help urgently!
I’m getting the same error. Please help!
I’ve managed to solve the issue by also removing the following:
wp_enqueue_style('font-awesome', WPDM_BASE_URL.'font-awesome/css/font-awesome.min.css');
Will I have to remove this with every Download Manager plugin update?
Thanks
I carried out your instructions, but it hasn’t solved the problem. The Font-Awesome icons are still missing from my site.
