Hi Shaon

I tried what you said- I emptied the access field in this CSV file – https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/136103/category-sample_master_final.csv

After importing it, I still can’t access the subcategories on any of the 2 possibilities. Screenshot here – http://www.evernote.com/shard/s9/sh/312b338e-0b06-49a1-a3d5-51eef7c76ece/2e9f266f430c481e9764ea3663183ab1

Can you please check the attached CSV and tell me what I’m doing wrong?

Thanks

I see… so if I want to refrain people from accessing some folders, I actually need to create special permissions for the files instead of the folder?

Considering I have 1500 categories, what would be the best way to batch modify that? Would I lose the file association if I re-upload the csv file? If using the CSV is the best option, should I leave that field blank for all 1500 categories?

Hi

I have the WPDM PRO + Directory Add-On and can’t get this to work. I have multi level categories like in this demo and it would be great if I could replicate that navigation.

Basically I have:
Folder 1
> Subfolder 1
Sub subfolder 1
Sub subfolder 2
Sub subfolder 3

etc.

I get all packages listed, but not the categories. I tried both
[wpdm-archive] and [wpdm-categories] – the latter could work if I could go deeper in the levels but currently I can’t.

Thanks!

Update: I tried uploading the sample file once again and after some attempts it actually created it. I have now tried uploading my generated file and it has worked as well. Not sure what happened here, but this is FIXED! ๐Ÿ™‚

Cheers

Hi Shaon

Thanks for replying. Thing is, even if I attach the sample file (which I assume should work) it doesn’t load it, so it’s probably not just a formatting problem. I checked the database and it loaded a couple of columns but then it stopped- and the plugin gets broken afterwards (ie can’t acess files/categories anymore, just settings/stats).

Any help?

Update: after some more searching I found the problem. For reference, if this happens to anybody else:

There’s also a table called “_fm_categories” inside “wp_options” that needs to be cleared. Now the plugin is alive again.
