Unfortunately I can’t since I have reverted back to an older version of the website. There might be a compatibility issue with the theme possibly (Avada) ? For now I will use version 4.4 since we need the website to function for our clients. Have you made any further updates to WPDM ?

I just realized that password protected downloads no longer work, I had to re-install an earlier version of the website to go back to WPDM 4.4. Please fix all issues and publish a new version that works without any issues. Thanks.

I just updated as well. The only issue I ran into is that the Excel icons no longer show in the links to the downloads. None of the icons show in the plugin itself in the list of downloads. I updated a few downloads to re-apply the icon. In some cases that does resolve the issue, in some cases it does not. Can you create a fix for this issue in another update ?

After the recent plug-in update I am facing the same issue of the code being added in front of the file name. I have the setting set to ‘overwrite’.

I have another problem. Besides adding the code the system eliminates certain parts of the file names.

Example:

Original file name is 07.31.15_Shiner_TOMDonna_recap.pdf
File name after upload is 07.31.Shiner_TOMDonna_recap.pdf

This means that I manually have to change very file name. We upload hundreds of files every month. So is is very time consuming. Is there a way to ensure that the name of the uploaded file is exactly the same name of the name of the file originally uploaded ?

Deleting the current WPDM Folder will not eliminate any data ?

When are you going to release the plug-in update for WordPress 4.2 ?

I just clicked on the download links again and the code is back. So there is nothing you can modify from your end ?

I tried again and it seems to be working now. Should multiple links on one page be ok ?
