Thank you for your explanation – i appreciate you taking the time to explain it to me.

When you say ‘The reset time is calculated based on the time you set<‘ – how do I set the reset time exactly? Is it set by pressing the red ‘reset limit for everyone’ button in the setting>general ? Or is the time set from anytime when I click ‘save settings’ after changing any of the download limit settings?

Also the only user role that should be able to download (apart from admin) is ‘superfan’. They are allowed 1 download per day. Are you able to take a quick look in my wp-admin to check I have this set up correctly?

One question – for the 1 day reset – is this 24 hours after the download is initiaited, or is it by calendar date? For example if I download a item at 11pm on 3rd February, can I then download again at 1am 4th February (2 hours later), or would I not be able to download again until 11pm 4th February (24 hours later)?

And is the download plugin working in sync with the my WordPress websites date and time zone?

Hello,

I have downloaded and installed Version 3.0.2.

However still the same issue occurs. Please who have downloaded a item a few days ago, have a reset date of 1st February.. which makes no sense.. as that date has already past and they should have availability to download again, however they can’t

Hello, will it be in an update of WPDownloadManager or a update of Download Limit plugin? And how will I know when a update is available? Because for me the new updates that are available don’t seem to show in my plugins section of wp-admin.

Can you give me a rough I idea of when this update will be? In 1 day or in 1 week?

As I am sure you imagine, with this currently not working, I have many users emailing complaining about their downloads not resetting each day, for which they have paid for as part of their subscription.

So its something that I would ideally like to get sorted today or ASAP.

Please advise, thanks

Hi Tahasin, Thanks for your reply. I have updated both plugins. However I am still getting complaints from users that their limit is not resetting daily. I have some screen shots of how next to the users name it says ‘next reset: 29 January’ however its already 30th January, and the reset hasn’t occurred. Please advise how to rectify this issue. Regards
