can you tell me as soon as this is done please and thank you!
My client only wants to see the folders when they login and not all the files until the various folders are clicked.

I have [wpdm_user_dashboard] on my login page. Please let me know what I need to do so that when a user is logged in they only see their own folder and not other user folders. Thx
I would really like to get this working today, it has been a long process ๐Ÿ™

I just downloaded from this page (my account download page) and uploaded files to ftp. Tested and I still see the other recommended folders. Please advise.

*I just deleted the plugin and reinstalled a new downloaded from my account and it stills hows the all recommended folders instead of just showing me my folder.

so if buy this plugin.. and have a login page that all clients go to. Will this shortcode make it so all clients can login on this page? and after logging in will only see their download folder?

Does this plugin have built in roles or do you just assign a user to a package and point this pkg to a folder for downloading?

so as an example when test2 role logs in they can download from test2folder but the problem is when they login they can see test3folder, test4folder etc.. I don’t want them to see any folder other then their own. My thought is if we can’t hide the other folder is it possible to have a template so when test2 role logs in they go directly into their test2folder so they don’t see the others? or open to suggestions.

any idea when that will be? and my follow up question is is there a way not to show recommended downloads and just push the user to their folder content view?
My client want their users to login and just go to their role folder. Thx

I think I finally have it. The key for anyone else is is searching is to create a login page and add the shortcode [wpdm_user_dashboard] to it. Then in the download settings frontend point to this as login page. Also in the basic settings add all your roles to file browser access.

I would like to know how to set up 1 login page ie
url/download/login

so that any of my clients can go to this page and based on their “role” credentials they can only see their download pkg/folder that it points to.

Thanks I was able to find this but didn’t “add new” as I want to just point to this directory for the role.
I am not sure how to display the login screen? I want new role 1 to login (frontend and then be redirected to the files available to download from the directory I set from your instructions above (frontend view) Please describe in detail how to do this so I don’t have to post more questions ๐Ÿ™‚
Thanks

thanks I installed and have a new role set up. My other question is how to do I point to a certain folder on the server for that role? Presales said this was an option as well.
