Hi!
I´m not longer able to put an Url/Link into a download.
The url https://shorturl.at/pd3Hz becomes only pd3Hz after saving.
With other Urls ist the same problem.
What´s wrong with wpdm?

Thanks for reaching out.
It’s recognizing pd3Hz as the file name, which is why it’s displaying that way. For example, if you use this link: https://file-examples.com/wp-content/storage/2017/10/file-sample_150kB.pdf, it will consider file-sample_150kB.pdf as the package file name. Thank you for your understanding!

Thanks for your answer. You are right, my Short-Link works – but it looks different at the WP-Backend than the older ones.
On our Website we have links from our different courses to information-flyer with the hole input our puples need.
The links to the files in our Nextcloud are longer, like: https://bbsapp.bbs-cux.de:5443/index.php/s/waMjAfKCXBkBM5G – you see, no short ones =)
In the past we had no problems with them to put them in an wpdm download. All (old) links are working fine.
But now they won´t save after we ad them.
Du you know the reason for it? Can i change settings or something like that, so it will work even in new or changed wpdm-downloads?
Is this the issue you’re experiencing where attempting to save the package using this link:https://bbsapp.bbs-cux.de:5443/index.php/s/waMjAfKCXBkBM5G doesn’t work in the current version, although it worked fine with the previous version of the download manager?

Yes, in an older Version of wpdm ist works fine.
Our latest “new” wpdm-download with an long url ist from March 2022.
Till then our Links where saved and shown in wpdm like this:
Now wpdm doesn´t save it.

after updating to version 3.3.11, I can no longer insert files via URL — specifically from Microsoft SharePoint.
This used to work perfectly in previous versions, I would paste the SharePoint URL pointing to an .exe file, The file would stay linked and downloadable
Now, after updating the page, the file URL appears saved at first, but it disappears after the site update, and the download becomes broken.
Could you please check if anything changed regarding how external URLs (like SharePoint links) are handled in this version?

In my case, the update fixed my problem and I am able again to safe our urls as it should be and as it was in the past.
