Wrong Post Types displayed

Hello there,

first of all I would like to explain my or our situation.
We got a project from another agency, to fix a website and be the “new” admins of their WordPress site.
There are a lot of bugs in it, because the developer who managed the site wrote a lot of hardcoded PHP stuff.

Now it is getting better and better, but right now we are on an problem with the Download Manager (it may not only be the Download Manager, but you still might have a solution for that).

So basically we are using the Block-Editor and the WP Download Manager Plugin.
On one site we use the “Packages” Block or Element, that should show all Downloads from a category.
Now if we apply no filter, it shows other post types like Posts or Events, but no downloads at all (we have a lot of downloadable content and aswell categories)
If we set it up with one included category for example it just doesnt show anything.

Aswell if we try the “Package” Block, who shows only one download possibility at a time, and i want to chose one. It only shows me other posts, events or even sites. But not a single download.

I dont know why this happens, but on other plugins like the Events Calender it has similar issue. Or even the post filtering from original wordpress has similar issues aswell. Thats why I say: “maybe its not a problem from Download Manager”.

I appriciate any kind of help of anybody who has an idea. If you need some more details let me know!
