WPDM Directory Add-on Category Sort

Is there a way to reverse the sort order in the WPDM archive? My archive is using years as the root categories. and I would like to have the categories sorted in DESC instead of ASC. I’m not talk about the order="asc" in the sort code. I’m referring to main category navigation in the WPDM archive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I’m having an issue with the subcategories collapse. It seems to be an issue with the Bootstraps CSS specifically with the activation of the dropdown. Now I’m not sure how this is enabled however the follow CSS is the cause of the issue.

.collapse:not(.show) {
    display: none;
}

Again any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
