Hello! A client of mine uses the Free version of Download Manager + the paid WordPress PDF Viewer Pro add-on.

On their site, when we choose the Page Template “Single Column with Doc Preview”, all works well with a small test file uploaded. (.pdf file, 33 KB in size) The file previews in the little viewer as expected on the front end, and all as well! However, when I upload a still small but slightly bigger test file (.pdf file, 249 KB in size), nothing ever appears in the little viewer on the download’s page.

I can’t say for certain that the file size is what is causing the problem, but that’s the only thing I can find at the moment from my testing. We first noticed this problem on real files of various sizes – the larger ones don’t show up in the document previewer.

I’m happy to provide screenshots or additional information here. Is there some file size requirement for using WordPress PDF Viewer Pro? Anything else I can look at here to make this work on all files?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,
The customized pdf.js was causing some strange issue on your site, so I’ve added an alternative view, which is working fine. However, we are checking the issue in details on our side.

Hi there,
I’m also experiencing the same issue with the doc preview, how do I get round this?
Great plug-in by the way!
Thanks
Warren
