The page-templates Add-on doesn’t display in my theme (“hueman”).
which possibilities does the free version? where are the shortcuts?

To show the overview categories like the demo link you need an additional add-on with the WDMP. Here is the link to the Add-on https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-directory-add-on/ .
And regarding page template. Can you give error page screenshot? Are you using page template of link template?
