Our cache folder “plugins/download-manager/cache” has grown to 177GB and our web host wants us to delete all the contents of that folder. It’s full of .zip files.
What is that folder for?

please clear the cache dir manually, in latest version of wpdm pro we have improve the cache option to avoid such situation. please update your copy, as it looks like your are still using very old version of wpdm pro.

The cache thing is becoming an issue. Just spent 2hs getting my site online due to high Inode usage. Are you able to provide a CRON to be added to the host in order to delete cache files?
