OP

My client needs something that does email verification. He doesn’t want some one putting in fake emails and be able to get the download. Also, I see there is a plugin for Mailchimp. This would be great if he is able to use that too. Looking for a way to have a file that can’t be downloaded unless we capture a users info and email.

WPDM Pro has option to block mail domains, you can use that option to block fake/temporary/disposable email addresses. Also you can ask for email and name, send download link to their inbox rather than instant download.
