Thanks for the quick reaction and ‘tempary’ solution.
This hook: “add_filter(“wpdm_is_valid_mime_type”, ‘__return_true’);” you gave works fine in the active theme functions.php file.
Still my question: please make an adjustment in the next Downloadmanager version so that the users don’t have to change this in the active theme functions.php file and the ones who did can delete this adjustment again. Thanks.
