We have a few additional user roles within our WP setup. This role isn’t recognised by Download Manager, so as a result, these users can’t upload new downloads.
They get the error attached – unauthorized access.
Does anyone know how to allow additional roles to upload files?

So, seems like Revisor is a custom role and you need add upload_files cap for that role.
Please could you explain to me how to do this?

You can use the plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-access-manager/ to manage user roles and assign different capabilities to a custom role.
