Hello sir, there’s an issue with the free version of the WordPress Download Manager plugin. After updating to the new version of WordPress, the plugin encountered a problem with one of its crucial features, “Allow Access”. When I publish a file, the access disappears. This means that when I publish it, the access to my downloadable file is set to “all visitors”. However, after publishing, the chosen access is not saved and it becomes blank. On the actual file page, it shows that no one is allowed to download my file. I hope this can be resolved soon. Thank you.

Hello Sir, I have identified the cause of the problem. It appears to be a conflict with another plugin, ‘WP Hide & Security Enhancer’. When I deactivate this plugin, the ‘Access’ feature works. However, when the plugin is activated, the ‘Allow Access’ feature does not work. I have tested all the functions of the WP Hide & Security Enhancer plugin and disabled all its features while keeping the plugin activated. This means that even when the plugin is activated and no active functions are serving my website, the error still persists on the WordPress Download Manager. The ‘Allow Access’ feature works fine when the WP Hide & Security Enhancer is completely deactivated. Please help me fix this issue so that these two plugins can work together without conflict. This error persisted when WordPress was updated. Previously, I had no issues between these two plugins. Thank you.
