Hi there! I’ve tried searching the forums, but I couldn’t find a solution for that problem. I’ve installed WP Download Manager and also did some modifications to the template files that I copied over to my child theme, but if I change the link-templates, nothing happens. If I modify the originals in the plugin directory, the changes appear, but not the ones from the child theme.
so changing this file works
plugins/download-manager/tpls/link-templates/link-template-default.php
but editing this one doesn’t have any effects
childtheme/download-manager/link-templates/link-template-default.php
Any idea what could be going on there?
Cheers, M

It should work, please, give your temporary wp-admin login details in a private reply for checking the issue.
Thanks
Thanks for the reply, I can’t give out admin access because this isn’t my server, but I’ll make a copy on my dev environment and get back to you asap!
Hi,
I have tested customizing the link-template from your active theme, also tested here, https://ftc.0a.at/link-template/, here, the heading HTML, This custom HTML, you can customize as your own requirements, link-templates overriding is working fine here, please check
thanks
Oh cool, thanks, will check it out in a bit! Could you please remove the link to the page from your post?
It doesn’t seem to work when using the wpdm_packages shortcode
I see it has been 11 days since the last answer. The templates in our active child theme are not recognized. I can rename mine for example, and the Download Manager always goes back to the default theme.
I also use the wpdm_packages shortcode, and it refuses to recognize any new templates or adjustment to current templates.
